Experience and enjoy a glimpse of Amana's past in this beautifully restored 1862 Amana brick home.  One of the original communal kitchens in Homestead.

You’ll enjoy seeing all of the unique characteristics of an Amana brick home including the hand-hewn timbers and exposed interior brick walls.

We pride ourselves on providing the perfect relaxing getaway. May it be a romantic couple retreat or a place for a girls getaway weekend.

We may not have a sign out front, but we have Rex!  Watch for him. He is in our front yard and usually pretty easy to spot. He surely doesn't seem like he belongs here, but we love the touch of Whimsy. We love when you take your picture with him, just try and share the love and tag us or tell people where we are at. 

We consider ourselves a hidden gem in the colonies, you will notice we DO NOT have a sign in front of our building. We love our home and love the private  quiet getaway we have. Not having a sign helps us give you that experience. We are located on V st between Die Heimat Event Center and the Troy Thomas Kitchen Art studio. Large brick building,  entrance is the door on  East door with the metal railing.

BED & BREAKFAST INN

Wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and come down to join us in the breakfast room for a full sit down breakfast which could include; a breakfast casserole or stuffed French toast, homemade muffins, fruit, yogurt, assorted cereals, toast and several beverage choices. Breakfast is served on fine china. In the winter you may eat in front of the fireplace in the breakfast room. coffee/tea/hot cocoa available 24hrs a day.

The rooms are nicely appointed with; queen sized beds, cable TV and WIFI, private baths and are individually air conditioned.

We love to be your destination for a quiet, relaxing adult getaway. We do not allow children under 16. Children are allowed with a whole house booking, but please note our furnishings and decor are not child friendly. supervision required at all times.      (Group booking with children have an extra fee.)
